ACHT - LA PURA VIDA

LA PURA VIDA - The motto of one of the most beautiful countries on earth, Costa Rica, is the inspiration for this unique coffee from Luis Campos and his partner Koki from the Cordillera de Fuego. It was one of the most wonderful encounters on our trip through Costa Rica, and for us, it's one of the best coffees in the world.

What makes it so special? The "natural" processing. How exactly does it work? Pssssst. That remains Luis's top secret. Only this much: during the fermentation process, after the natural processing, the coffee is placed in tanks and hot air is blown into them. When, for how long, at what temperature, etc.... we don't know any of that! We think it's a good thing. That way, it stays special.
